There are so many things to love about words, writing, reading – sometimes I get lost thinking about how much has been changed, who has grown, who has awoken, who has survived because of words. But words are a lot like water; as beautiful as they are dangerous.

Poetry
As many thoughtful people do, I dabble in poetry and have created a place to share these hopes, dreams and fears with all you kind people. I will occasionally post any information I received at writing conferences, tips from classes or articles, etc. that I found informative.
Short Stories
I’ve recently been drawn to short stories. I really enjoy the instant gratification that comes from finishing a project in a much shorter time span (she says having worked on the same novel for the past two years). Sometimes, you need a win!
Inspiration
What a funny thing it is. It can strike at the oddest of times. I’m carrying groceries from the car and a bag falls from the seat. Time slows as I watch the wine bottle fall. It finally hits the ground and shatters but somehow, it stays contained in the plastic shopping bag, a sudden rush of fluid filling it like a makeshift blood bag. *I write thrillers.* Anywho, this is a space to share those weird instances and maybe even a movie or article or something someone said to me that brought a scene or a line of dialogue to my mind.
