Long story short, this blog exists because I love writing. And I also have some really wonderful, encouraging friends.
On this whimsy-filled blog, you’ll find some of my original short stories and poems, a dash of writing tips, a handful of books that I adore, and a pinch of what I find inspiring or delightful.

I grew up in Western New York and started taking writing seriously when I moved to Texas in 2017. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and spent my career honing my business writing skills. After making a career change at the end of 2017, I attended a weekly writing and critique group, put in hours of self study and attend various writing conferences. I’ve also completed a Certification in Editing with The Poynter Institute.
When I’m not editing or writing, you can find me working in Marketing, presenting about storytelling, tarot, or catharsis in writing, reading, researching, going for walks, watching crime or sci-fi shows, playing piano, cooking, visiting family in New York, and exploring the Dallas/Fort Worth area with my beau.
