I can’t stress how profoundly impressed I am with LJ’s services. Her editing skills were razor sharp, and – upon request – she went above and beyond to offer incite into the direction of the story. I had several other editors read the original copy and none of them could hold a candle to LJ. Her suggestions became pivotal to the very core direction of the plot, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I am already looking forward to her reading and editing my next one. My only worry, is that she will find something grammatically wrong with this review! Cheers!

I had written my first attempt at Flash Fiction for a local writing conference. When I submitted it to LJ for editing I warned her it was 191 words over limit so I knew we had our work cut out for us! She really helped to tighten up the sentence structure and the whole piece, and then she went a step further and offered an addition based on a unique insight to my subject matter. I appreciated how LJ presented that addition to me, making sure I understood that she wasn’t trying to change anything but if I wanted, I could use this addition of hers — or not. To me, standard editing skills are table stakes and LJ has those in spades (pun intended). But she upped those stakes with both the offering of a solid addition and the professional way she offered it. I was more than pleased with this experience. Thanks, LJ!
